Tiger/128 is a Tiger family algorithm invented in 1995 by Ross Anderson, Eli Biham . It is also known as OpenPGP.Digest.6 and is mainly used in Gnutella, Gnutella2, Direct Connect, DC++, Phex, BearShare, Lime.
The algorithm was presented in/on "Tiger — A Fast New Hash Function", proceedings of "Fast Software Encryption 3", Cambridge, 1996.
The digest (hash generated by this algorithm) is 128 bits (16 Bytes) in length.
